He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Karen; his parents, Arnold Thayer and Betty Thayer; his brothers, Donald and Keith Thayer; his brother-in-law Rich Pierson; his nephew Brad Schlecht; his daughters, Jana Flynn (Jason) of Proctorville, OH, Teal Thayer of Kennersville, NC and Kim Smith (Chris) of Scottown, OH; his grandchildren, Conner of Proctorville, OH. and Maddi of Proctorville, OH.; his siblings, Barb Kern (Fred), Wendy Kern (Greg), Cindy Pierson, Jack Thayer (Janet) of Erie, PA, Gary Thayer (Rose) of Erie, PA, Randy Thayer of Erie, PA and Mike Thayer (Chris) of Pittsburgh, PA; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Thayer of Mt. Olivet, KY, Brenda Harrison (Buddy) of Gallipolis and Michael Giles (Essie) of Willow Wood, OH.. He was also cherished by several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
