It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Neal Betz of Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his son James Neal Betz (Jim); his wife Opal Betz; his stepchildren, Bill Zerkle (Emrys), Sandy Marroquin (Ralph) and Jocelyn Topping (Brian); his children, Tim Betz (Jan) and Sally Betz (Angie Allion); his grandsons, Adam Betz (Vicky) and Andy Betz (Jenni); and his great grandchildren, Celia Eleanor Betz, Vanessa Betz, Tucker Betz, Zane Betz, Tolliver Betz, Hendrix Betz and Hank Betz.
Despite COVID, they were all able to have some fun visits with their great grandpa in 2020.
Donations in honor of Jim made be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Gallipolis Ohio or Batten Disease Support and Research Association (2780 Airport Drive #342; Columbus, OH 43219. There will be a private graveside service for Jim and he will be laid to rest in Mound Hill Cemetery).
