He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard DeLong, Sr. and Lola Sue Johnson; his daughter Sara Elizabeth DeLong; and his siblings, Robert Murray and Joyce Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Della Delong of Gallipolis; his son Wesley DeLong (Nina) of Bidwell; his grandsons, Keegan, Eli and Abel; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Sanders (Brenda) of Crown City, Dale Sanders (Alice) of Crown City, Mark Sanders (Debbie) of Gallipolis, Lora DeLaney (Troy) of Crown City and Karen Anderson (John) of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
