He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Curtis and Lulu Sutman Curtis; his former wife Mary Curtis; his sons, Sam Curtis and John Curtis; his siblings, Homer Curtis, Lola Curtis, Marlin "Hazel" Yost and Virginia Magers; and his daughter-in-law Missy McMahon.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey Reed of Frankfort, Tabitha Curtis of Frankfort, James "Jimmy" Curtis (Kayela Slate) of Dresden, Kathleen Butler of Chillicothe and Jay Stonerock of Chillicothe; his stepchildren, Sheri Shepperd (Chris) of Gainesville, FL, Brian Martin of Radcliff, KY, Steve Legier (Lisa) of Montacello, FL and David Shepperd (Cora) of Brandenburg, KY; his grandchildren, Krystal Detty, Katie Pariscoff, Michele Detty, Jordon Curtis, Ashley Curtis, Alayna Butler, Bella Butler and Kyiah Smith; his brothers, Mike Bush (Sue) of South Charleston, WV and Gary Todd Bush of Gallipolis; and his close friends, Judge Johnnie Reynolds of Mason, WV and Harry Butler of Chillicothe. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
