She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Massie and Betty Myers Massie; and her siblings, Carolyn Valentine, Milton "Mick" Massie and Donald Massie.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Gardner; her son Mark Gardner; her siblings, Melvin Massie (Teresa), Jimmy Massie, Michael Massie and Barbara Curnette (Charles); and her brothers-in-law, Keith Valentine, Ed Gardner, Allen Gardner and Roger Gardner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
