She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Birchfield and Verna Birchfield (McDaniel); and her siblings, Jim McDaniel, Carl McDaniel, Josephine Miller, Julia "Nadine" Kirby and Jenny Bell.
She is survived by: her significant other Jim Bays; her children, James Michael "Mike" Bays and Kimberly "Kim" Blackburn; her grandchildren, Amanda Nibert (Andy) and Andy Blackburn; and her great grandchildren, Conner of Gallipolis, Clayton of Gallipolis, Cooper of Gallipolis and Creed Nibert of Gallipolis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Sue's memory.
