He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton E. and Betty Springer Johnson; his siblings, Danny Johnson, Clayton Johnson, Ellen Houck and Phyllis Buttrick; and his niece Lori Johnson.
He is survived by: his spouse Kathy May Mayse Johnson; his children, Richard Johnson (Sharon), Everett Elkins (Olive), Amber Elkins of Gallipolis and Tabatha Johnson of Pikeville, KY; his stepchildren, Jimmy L. Bargy of Gallipolis, Ronnie Dean Fletcher (Amanda) of Gallipolis, Donny Ray Fletcher of Gallipolis and Crystal May Fillinger (Andrew) of Gallipolis; and his siblings, Clarence Johnson of Gallipolis, Lenville Johnson (Connie) of Gallipolis, Dorothy Johnson of Gallipolis, Brenda Spalding of Gallipolis, Norma Johnson of Gallipolis and Linda Earl (Clinton) of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several half-brothers and half-sisters survive as well as several nieces and nephews.
