She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dale and Zella Lucina Miller (George); her husband John Richard Thomas of January; her son James Dale Thomas; her brothers, George Miller and Robert Miller; her son-in-law James Enyart; and her granddaughter-in-law Danica Enyart.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Enyart of Gallipolis, John Richard Thomas (Pam) of Athens, Ohio, William Dean Thomas (Cindy) and Nathan Bedford Thomas (Terri); and her sisters, Louise O'Briant (George) of Bucyrus, Ohio, Mary Lou Tenney (Richard), Carol Huff (Charlie) and Grand Junction. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
