She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gilman and Minnie Mullins Gilman; her husband John Henry Brewer, Sr.; her granddaughter Amber Nichol Brewer; and her brothers, Bernard Lee Gilman and Danny Ray Gilman.
She is survived by: her children, John H. Brewer, Jr. (Sandra) of Gallipolis, Howard L. Brewer of Kanauga, Lora N. Quinn of Charleston, Teressa L. Parsons (Larry) of Langsville and Sharon R. Brewer of Columbus; and her siblings, Grover Howard Gilman (Wanda) of Romney, Lovell Gilman (Barbara) of Tolbert, Tennessee, Delores Mullins (Terry) of North Carolina, Sharon Rose Gordon (Jerry) of North Carolina and Felicia Gilman of Laurel Creek. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Operation Smile.
