He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McKinney and Edna McKinney (Plantz); his wife Janet Rose McKinney (Chapman); his daughters, Rosemary Jenkins and Nancy Griffith; his son-in-law William Atkins; his great grandchildren, Garrett Humphreys and Christy Adkins; and his siblings, Clay, Berteen, Audra and Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Janie Humphreys (Tim) and Don Alan McKinney; his adoptive son Glenn Cox (Letta); and his siblings, Florence Schulte, Pauline Wilson and Dennis McKinney (Emma). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 19 Great-Great Grandchildren.
