He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Sexton and Avis A. Cochran Sexton; his wife Barbara Jean Sexton; and his siblings, Robert Sexton, Richard Sexton, Elizabeth Alton, Ida Moore, Amy Sexton and Naomi Ritchie.
He is survived by: his children, David Lee Sexton (Sherry) of Huron, Dale Allan Sexton (Shirley) of Ironton, Risa Lynn Hill (Ronald) of Gallipolis and Sandra Mills (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Travis Ronald Hill (Amanda Faye) of Gallipolis, Jeremy Sexton (Michele) of Jackson, Jason Sexton (Kristin) of Grove City, Melissa Toohey (Kyle) of Gahanna, Brian Mills of Gallipolis, Joshua Mills of Gallipolis, Veronica Crabtree (Jeromy) of Chillicothe, Sonita Mills of Gallipolis and Dakota Sexton of Durham, NC. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home (810 2nd Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
