He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Lear and Martha "Helena" Lear; his parents-in-law, Charles Dotson and Nellie Dotson; his sister Eileen Sanders; his brother-in-law Doc Sanders; his brother Gary Lear; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Lear, David Dotson and Leslie Dotson.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Lear (Dotson); his children, Jesse Lear (Chelsea), Lacey Langone (Anthony) and Lani Samad (AJ); his grandchildren, Sienna, Nico and Olivia Langone; his siblings, Jean Lear (Robert) and Marlin Lear (Della); and his siblings-in-law, Dan Dotson (Beth) and Edy Dotson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
