He is survived by: his sons, Donovan Lee Sanders (Debby) of Gallipolis, James Sanders of Jackson and Jason Sanders of Gallipolis; his siblings, Dillard Sanders (Luree) of Scottown, Faron Sanders (Allison) of Gallipolis, Shirley Nolan of Vinton, Carolyn Lockhart (Dave) of Crown City and Brenda Burris of Vinton; and his grandchildren, Kandus Fortner (Steve), James Sanders (Courtney), Jessica Gilbert (Jakob), Shelby Smittle (Gaby), Jennifer Whitt (Josh), Emily Sanders, Madison Payne (Samuel) and Troy Sanders.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home (810 2nd Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sanders Cemetery (2 Saundersville Road, Crown City, Ohio 45623).
