He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan and Nina; and his brother Harry. He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Jeff (Andrea), Brent and Ann (Scott); and his granddaughters, Lauren, Peyton (Wes), Tori and Maren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holzer Heritage Foundation or to a charity of one's choosing.
