He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barbara Thacker, Velma and Orville Johnson; and his aunt Orvillette Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Thacker (Lori) and Linda Johnson (Bob Barker); his children, Brently Thacker, Daemyon "Jonas" Chandler, Canyon and Ashley Barnett; his siblings, Justin Johnson (Nikki), Dakota Thacker (Kayla), Zane Carroll (Clarissa), Chris Barker, Christina Gearhart (Stephanie) and Emily Jordan (Kyle); his grandfather Donald Thacker Sr. (Linda); his great-uncle Harold Thacker; and his close friend Sierra "Binki" Matteson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his memory to his son.
