He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. Johnson and Freda Lambert Johnson; his wife Connie Kay Waugh Johnson; and his siblings, Bob Johnson, Loretta Swain, Inez Stocker and Agnes Frazee.
He is survived by: his children, Malynda Johnson (Jonathan) of Crown City and Todd Johnson (Barbie) of Gallipolis; his grandchildren, Corey Small (Haley), Tyler Crilow (Jackie), Lesley Short (Corey), Kayla Moss (Dallas), Kelli Johnson and Chase Johnson; his great grandchildren, Marli Moss, Evelyn Small, Noah Moss, Luke Crilow, Layton Crilow, Katlin Crilow, Savanna Crilow and Lainey Small; and his sisters, Gloria Evans of Gallipolis and Lula Mae Henry of Dallas. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
