With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty J. Finney of Gallipolis, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty J. Finney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Davis and Mary Lewis Davis; her husband John Finney; her brother Floyd Davis; her son-in-law Gary Fisher; and her sister-in-law Rosaliend Reid.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon "Sherry" Fisher of Bidwell, Ohio and Randall Finney (Cindy Staley) of Gallipolis, Ohio; her grandchildren, Lindsay Stout (Chris) of Bidwell, Nick Fisher (Kelli) of Hilliard, RJ and David Finney of Dublin; her great grandchildren, Caleb Stout, Kennedy Fisher, Carmen Fisher, Lilyanna Delgado and Natalya Finney; her great great grandchild Khelani Wills; and her sister-in-law Betty Davis of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Just learned of Betty’s death and am grieving with all of the family, but also rejoicing that she is now home with John and our Lord. We have fond memories of the two of them. They were so gracious to us when we visited their home, and we always enjoyed great conversations when we saw them as we traveled the state back in the 1980’s. We have enjoyed their friendship over these many years, and will always remember them fondly. A special thanks to Sherry for reading our letters to her mom.”
