He is survived by: his parent Effie Flannery Chaney Sr.; his daughter Sharon Jean Combs (Archie) of Oak Hill; his grandchild Gary Douglas Combs; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Green of Lexington, Shanna Blankenship of Huntington, W. V, Sammy Green of Lexington and Creighton Green of Washington, D. C.
