Barbara Jean Wood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Wood (Gallipolis, Ohio), born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lieving and Verna Lieving (Edwards); and her siblings, Leland, Norman Lieving, Dorotha Gray and Margaret Brewer.
She is survived by: her husband William Wood; her sisters-in-law, Rebecca Wood and Judi Wood; her children, Shawn Detwiler (Jeff), William Christopher Wood (Lisa) and Amy Sisson (Jamie); her grandchildren, Amber Dawn McClanahan (Chris Zinn), Sarah Fridenmaker (Scott), Samantha Kapp (Jim Fox), Miranda Lawrence (Luke), Ryan Alexander Trent (Julie), William Scott Wood, Brett Ashley Sisson, James Sisson and Luke Sisson; and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Emma, Jaden Autenrieth, Cameron, Ella Fridenmaker and Francis Gene Kapp. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and close friends.
