She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Abel and Mayme Evans Abel; and her brother Allan Lee Abel. She is survived by: her husband David George Sexton of Gallipolis; her children, David Lee Sexton (Sherry) of Huron, Dale Allan Sexton of Ironton, Risa Lynn Hill (Ronald) of Gallipolis and Sandra; and her grandchildren, Travis Ronald Hill (Amanda Faye) of Gallipolis, Jeremy Sexton of Jackson, Jason Sexton of Grove City, Melissa Toohey of Gahana, Brian Mills of Gallipolis, Joshua Mills of Gallipolis, Veronica Crabtree of Chillicothe, Sonita Mills of Gallipolis and Dakota Sexton of Durham, NC. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
