He was predeceased by: his parent Arthur I. Duty; and his son Arthur Douglas Duty, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Nancy Hall Duty; his wife LaNora Duty; his children, Leandra Massie (Mickey) of Gallipolis, Johnathan Leo Duty (Amanda) of Patriot and Derrek Duty (Sarah) of Gallipolis; and his siblings, Patricia Taylor (Joe) of Tennessee, Kathy Preston (Daniel) of Patriot, Nola "Snookie" Carey (Jim) of Surry, Lora M. Duty of Ironton, Gerry Gilman of Taylorville and George L. Duty of Patriot. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
