He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mitchell and Melva Mitchell; his siblings, Maxine Mitchell, Lawrence Alvin and Norman Mitchell; his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Sanders and Don James; his great-niece Jaime Supple; his great-nephew James Thompson; his former wife Audrey Mitchell (McKinney); and his wife Nellie Mitchell (Huffman).
He is survived by: his children, Pam Mitchell, Bob Mitchell and Teresa Bell (Mike); his stepchildren, Ronnie Huffman (Jenny Jo) and Beverly Gray (Jimmy); his siblings, Nancy James, Donna Roberson (Carroll) and Fred Mitchell; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Mitchell and Bonnie Mitchell. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews.
