He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Seckel and Inez Seckel (Cochran); his wife Betty Cass; and his siblings, Joel Seckel, Geraldine Logan (Dick), Nancy Jamerson and Marjorie Seckel.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Seckel (Cheri) and Carol Heiser (Doug); his grandchildren, Eric Seckel, Brian Seckel (Jenna), Scott Heiser (Laramie) and Kelly Thayer (Josh); his great grandchildren, Grace, Dylan, Emily Thayer, Carter, Blaine Seckel, Kylah Bodkin, Tyson O'Brien, Hayden and Hudson Heiser; and his sister-in-law Treva Seckel.
