It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter D. Wireman of Galion, Ohio, born in Greenup, Kentucky, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wireman and Rachel Mae Wireman (Brown); his spouse Shelby Jean Bays; his daughters, Brenda Powell and Kathy Scaggs; and his siblings, Patricia "Patty" Adkins, Ricky Wireman, Robert "Bob" Wireman and Russel Wireman (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Wireman Jr. (Libby) of Garrison, KY, Peggy Beach (David) of Washington Courthouse, OH, James Wireman (Beverly) of Galion, OH and Shane Wireman (Holly) of Galion, OH; his siblings, Debra Powell (Dale), Wanda "Fay" Barney, David Wireman (Joeann), Roger Wireman (Joelinda), Donald Gene Wireman and Bill Wireman (Jane); and his sister-in-law Jeanie Wireman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
