Ruth Ann Stirm Obituary
In loving memory of Ruth Ann Stirm of Galion, Ohio, who departed this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Ruth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Klingel, Sr. and Lydia Klingel (Boehm); her husband Arthur Stirm; her daughter Margarete "Peggy" Amstutz; her siblings, Betty Russell and Lloyd Klingel, Jr.; her niece Amy Russell; and her nephew Gary Holt.
She is survived by: her sons, George Stirm (Dorene) of Galion and Andrew Stirm (Jennifer) of Bucyrus; her grandchildren, Christian Stirm, Gracie Stirm, Sydney Stirm, Isaac Stirm and Avary Stirm; her sister-in-law Shirley Klingel; and her son-in-law Gail Amstutz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home (303 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Galion or to a charity of the donors choice.
