She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meyers and Martha Meyers (Parr); her husband Verlin Kempf; her siblings, Luella Snyder, John Meyers and Charles "Chud" Meyers; her half-brother Paul "Skip" Gantzler; her stepdaughter-in-law Pamela Kempf; her stepfather Paul W. Gantzler; and her half-sister Peggy Gantzler.
She is survived by: her son Ben Kempf (April) of Crestline; and her stepchildren, Verlinda (Gerry Strack) of Fort Wayne, Mel Kempf of Lexington and Tom Kempf (Crystal) of Shelby. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren; multiple nieces, nephews.
