He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Albert Wenninger Sr. and Lena Wenninger (Dexter); his wife Bertha Ann Wenninger (Fetter); his son James William Wenninger; and his siblings, Rosie Lehman, Eleanor Beck, Gustave "Gus" Wenninger Jr. and Darrell Wenninger.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Wenninger Jr. (Donna) of Tiro, Rick Wenninger (Shirley) of Port Clinton, Terry Wenninger (Anita) of New Washington, Diana (Randy Toth) of Crestline and Darla Phillips (Leonard) of Tiro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home (215 N Walnut St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (835 Kaler Ave, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
