He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Mason and Martha E. Mason Tracht (Berger); his brother John Mason; and his half-sister Sandy Butterfield. He is survived by: his children, Chris Mason of Fredericktown and Jessica Mason of Mansfield; his grandson Brayden Mason; and his half-sister Joan Toot.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of the funeral home.
