He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stowe and Grace Stowe (Ritterspach). He is survived by: his wife Kay L. Stowe (Kunkel); his children, Gregg Stowe of Green Valley, Colleen Adams (Todd) of Hilliard, Sherri Clevenger (Norm) of Galion and Amy Sprecher (Gary) of Avon; his grandchildren, Eric Clevenger (Leon Teeter), Rachel Maul (Chaz), Chris Gentry, Brad Sprecher, Sarah Sprecher and Cole Adams; his great grandchildren, Cai Gentry and Kennedy Maul; and his brother Robert Stowe (Donna) of Granville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Paul United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
