He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tischer and Erma Tischer (Roderick); his wife Charlotte Tischer (Gates); his grandson Craig Taylor; his son Darby Tischer; and his brother Jerry Tischer.
He is survived by: his son Chris Tischer (Pam) of Galion; his granddaughters, Tara Taylor, Stephanie Valentine and Kathi Tischer; his brother Jim Tischer (Brenda); and his sisters-in-law, Cindy Gates and Linda Tischer. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Galion Avita Hospice in care of the funeral home.
