He was predeceased by: his father Nelson; his wife Phyllis "Nadine" Gibbs; and also Darrell Steinbarger. He is survived by: his adoptive children, Kandrea Dawson of Shelby, Scott Gibbs of Galion and Tina Gibbs of Montana; and his stepson Michael Steinbarger of Galion. He is also survived by his family, friends.
