It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Alberty (Galion, Ohio), born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alberty and Mary Alberty (Foley); his stepfather Billy Chapman; and his brothers, Marlin Alberty and Bill Jack Chapman.
He is survived by: his spouse Rieko Amy Oyakwa; his children, Louie Alberty (Allison), Kenje Alberty (Ashley) and Jodi Britt (Shawn); his grandchildren, Olivia, Morgan, Ryder, Bella, Paislee, Lily, Kane, Lincoln Alberty, Courtney, Brandon and Dylan Britt; his brothers, Bobby and Tom Alberty (Diane); and his sister-in-law Linda Alberty.
