He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Tischer and Maggie Tischer (Young); his brother Vaughn; his sister-in-law Irene Tischer; and his sister Lauretta Rinehart.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann McCormick; his sons, Tim Tischer (Elaine) of Galion and Steve Tischer (Nancy) of Shelby; and his granddaughter Trina Bowdle (Jake) of Mansfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Magnolia Terrace Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
