She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Eater and Florence Eater; her stepfather Paul Metzger; and her brother Edward Eater. She is survived by: her husband David Burt; her children, Debbie Gillen Hough, Patricia Gillen Vanderkoi and Charles Gillen; her siblings, Charles Eater of Athens, Maine and Janet Tornelli of Texas; and her stepbrother Paul Metzger of Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
