He was predeceased by: his father Guy M. Chapman; his grandparents, Hershel, Wavie Chapman, Robert and Gertrude Everett; his father-in-law Milton Scheffler; and his stepfather Bill Roby.
He is survived by: his mother Beverly Everett Chapman of Carey; his wife Karen Scheffler of Bucyrus; his son Cody E. Chapman; his stepsons, Tyler (Cassandra) and Travis Stuckert; his mother-in-law Julia Scheffler; his brother-in-law Mark Scheffler (Marla) of Bucyrus; his aunt Nancy Hafer (Tom) of LaRue; his cousin Heather Treadaway (Doug); and his stepgrandchildren, Titus, Claire, Charity, Thoman, Lillian, Abigail and Isaiah.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers are encouraged to be made payable to Humane Society Serving Crawford County or a charity of the donor's choice and given at the funeral home.
