He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Lewis and Bertha Lewis (Fultz); his daughter Jeanetta Sue Lewis; and his siblings, Delmis, Lacy and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lewis (Prosser); his children, Bernetta Pederson (Lee) of Charlotte, NC., Lisa Barker, Andy Pursley (Cheryl) of Rocky River, Eric Lewis (Terri) of Galion and Brandi Lewis of Galion; and his siblings, Lester Lewis (Kathy) of Morehead, KY., Charles Lewis (June) of Surprise, AZ., Donald Lewis of Indiana, Mike Lewis (Peggy) of Crestline, Stella Barricks of Indiana and Aileen Calton (Roy) of Morehead, KY.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home (303 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
