He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Varnes and Grace Varnes (Fisher); his daughter Sharlene Varnes; and his son-in-law Greg McClintock. He is survived by: his wife Mary Knipp; his children, Ronald Varnes, Trudy McClintock and Patricia Dixon (Scott); his grandchildren, Kara Dixon (Ryan Conrad), Adrienne Cuffman (Isaac), Greg McClintock Jr., Carla Lowe (Mark), Rachel Williams (Greg), Renee Boyarshinov, Eric Varnes and Robin Varnes; his great grandchildren, Cooper Lowe, Ian Ayers (Jenna), Gaven McClintock, Nova Cuffman, Wyatt Williams, Mya Williams, Weston Burchett, Evan Conrad, Noah Conrad and Reed Conrad; and his great great grandchildren, Lane and Lydia Ayers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Richardson Davis Chapel (218 S Market St, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
