He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Eckstein and Roberta Eckstein (Springer); his wife Dorothy M. Eckstein; and his sisters, Erwina Ehresman (Lee), Eyleen McCarthy (Joseph) of New Washington and Enid Stahl of San Jose, California..
He is survived by: his children, Allen B. Eckstein (Diane) of Haslett, Michigan and Gail L. Eckstein of Shelby; his grandchildren, Michelle Meehan (John) of Pacific Palisades and Kevin Eckstein (Nilufer) of Lansing, Michigan; his great grandchildren, Emerson May Meehan and Alexander Eckstein; and his friend Vel Rios. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
