It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eldon Walter of Galion, Ohio, born in Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Walter and Beryl Walter (Dutcher); and his siblings, Clara Heid, Kenneth Walter, Edith Kehrwecker and Ermin Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Carol R. Walter (Sherer); his children, Hollis Walter (Lorraine) of Galion, Sandra Kennedy of Bucyrus, Debby Fulk (Roger) of Mansfield and Phillip Walter (Anna) of Galion; his grandchildren, Josh Kennedy, Zack Kennedy, Hannah Ruth, Mark Walter, Adam Walter, Mary Beth Fulk, Travis Fulk, Janey Fulk, Carey Hurford, Emily Fulk, Sabra Walter and Bella Walter; and his great grandchildren, Nate Ruth, Ethan Ruth, Aaron Ruth, Raylin Kennedy, Hazel Walter, Albert Walter, Magnolia Hurford, Livia Leonhart, Trey Dean and Tyson Dean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Endowment Fund at First United Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
