Betty Jean Ackley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2023, at the age of 88, Betty Jean Ackley of Galion, Ohio, born in Lakeview, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roscoe "Ross" D. Ackley; and her sisters, Verna Truesdell and Nadine Christensen. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Brawley (Rick) and Kevin Ackley (Shelly); her grandchildren, Kris Ross, Kole Ross, Stacey Brawley, Kristy Taylor (Tom) and Rikki James (Rich); her great grandchildren, Emma Ross, Alyee Daniel, Trinity James, Carlyee Daniel, Hadleigh James, Jaymee Pay, Lane Taylor and Kade Taylor; and her pets, Tish and Desi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and her close friends.

The family strongly encourages memorial contributions be given to Gentiva Hospice Dream Maker Program.
