It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Horton Sr. of Galion, Ohio, born in Hillsville, Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Horton and Beulah Jennelle; and his mother-in-law Lucille Efaw. He is survived by: his wife Jane Efaw; his children, Bennie Horton, Jr., Angie Pfleiderer (Doug) and Bernie Horton (Shelia); his grandchildren, Katie, Clay, Emily, Abby Pfleiderer, Marisa and Malayna Horton; and his siblings, Jimmy Horton, Lois Gates and Kitty Riggins.
