Barbara Jean Chapman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Chapman of Galion, Ohio, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Swackhammer and Eunice Swackhammer (Monroe); her husband Charles E. Chapman; and her siblings, Ruth Robinson, Eva Ellis, Sharon Leasure, Thomas, Larry and Ralph Swackhammer.

She is survived by: her children, Charles E. Jr. Chapman (Kristy) of Wasilla, Teresa Long (Steve) of Orient, Pamela Chapman of Galion and Bonnie Chapman of Galion; her grandsons, Charles Chapman (Elizabeth), Steven Chapman (Sophie) and James Chapman; her great grandchildren, Aloura, Emily and Charlotte Chapman; and her siblings, Betty Timmons (Bob) and Harry Swackhammer (Sharon).

Memorial contributions may be made to Iberia Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home.
