It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Christensen of Galena, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Christensen and Madge Christensen (Riggs); his siblings, George Christensen (Frederick "Chris" Christensen), Norma Magnuson (Richard) and Ella Marie; and his siblings-in-law, LeRoy Thacker, Ann Thacker and Betty Van Keuren.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Thacker; his daughters, Terri Cory (Joe) of Frankfort, Janice DiCarolis (Ralph) of Hilliard and Valerie Rich (Ben Hollenback) of Gahanna; his grandchildren, Steve, Grant Cory, Brandyn, Adam Wallace and Jordan Rich; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Thacker of Johnstown, Barbara Remley of Johnstown and Robert Thacker of Westerville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
