She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carl Hochradel, Robert Hochradel, Donald Hochradel, Shirley Hochradel and Janis Huff.

She is survived by: her husband Estel Miller; her children, Richard Miller (Joanne) of Baltimore, Deborah Parsons (Robert) of Columbus and Sandra Strine (Gene) of Caledonia; and her siblings, William Hochradel (Sue) of Lancaster, James Hochradel (Margaret) of Baltimore and Mary Ann Harrison of Baltimore. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers contributions be made to the church in Violet's memory.
