He was predeceased by: his father Chester L. Helman; his grandparents, Vesta, Richard Helman, John R. Curtis and Betty Ward (Curtis); his uncle Kenny Helman; and his cousins, Bianca Coon and Carl Helman.
He is survived by: his mother Vicky Curtis Doutt; his close friend Robert Harrison; and his siblings, Tim Helman (Tonya), Melissa Glassburn (Billy), Jodi Helman and Heather (Terry). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
