It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Audrey Kitzmiller of Gahanna, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Margaret Smith (Gillespie); her siblings, Charles "Smokey" Smith, Dorla Allen and Naomi Darnell; and her stepbrother Dick Richards.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Kitzmiller; her children, J. R. Terry, Sunshine Thacker and Josh Cunningham; and her stepdaughter Durona Schmidt. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
