He was predeceased by : his father Donald S. Brison. He is survived by : his mother Sondra L. Wright (Simons); his stepsons, Jacob and Kyle; his siblings, Teri Ann McWhorter (Cleo) and Holli Lynn Peters (Jeffery); his niece Lauren Ramsburg (Brad); and his nephew John Carr Jr. (Renee). He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Pace's name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 or to the church of the donor's choice in his memory.

“I never had the privilege to meet Pacer face to face, but he was a kind friend to me and many others on Twitter. I enjoyed his posts on Twitter and his comedic personality. He was always ready to reach out to me or anyone else when we were down. He had such a beautiful heart and spirit and ever so humble. He brightened all of our lives. I shall miss him dearly.
