He was predeceased by: his father Donald S. Brison. He is survived by: his mother Sondra L. Wright (Simons); his stepsons, Jacob and Kyle; his siblings, Teri Ann McWhorter (Cleo) and Holli Lynn Peters (Jeffery); his niece Lauren Ramsburg (Brad); and his nephew John Carr Jr. (Renee). He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Pace's name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 or to the church of the donor's choice in his memory.
