He was predeceased by: his father Robert Michael Kirkham, Sr.; and his brother Joseph Kirkham. He is survived by: his mother Sheila Barrett Kirkham; his children, Colin Richard, Molly Anne, Barrett Michael and Bridget Anne; the mother of his children Mary Kirkham (Merzweiler); his sisters, Kathryn Faherty, Shann Patton and Patricia Hartnett; his close friend Heidi Key; and his brother Timothy Kirkham.
