She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Istel and Charlotte Istel (Wieshalla); her spouse Thadeusz Banaszczyk; and her siblings, Hubert Istel, Claus Istel, Joachim Istel and Ruth Roine.
She is survived by: her children, Eva Woodruff (Ted) and Richard Banas (Pamela); her grandchildren, Kelli, Shawn, Christi, Scott and Eric; and her great grandchildren, Amelie, Luke, Maddox, Jaxon, Myles, Shelby and Charlotte.
