He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leo and Mary Pauline Coughlin (Albert). He is survived by: his children, Benjamin J. Coughlin (Gabby) and Leslie O'Reilly (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Victoria Coughlin, Camila Coughlin, Grady O'Reilly, Beau O'Reilly and Teddy O'Reilly.
